Welcome to the NETELLER US Business Merchant Toolkit. We recommend that you bookmark this page as we will continue to update this toolkit with the most up-to-date information.
As a result of the recent US legislative changes and related events, NETELLER announced that, effective immediately, its US members will no longer be able to make fund transfers with any online gambling sites. We would like to assure you that we value your business and will continue to service your customers in all other currently supported countries.
Please note the following:
This change only affects US-facing gambling merchants
All non-gambling merchant services remain unaffected by this change
This change only affects transactions from US members
NETELLER will continue to accept gambling transactions from customers in all other countries we currently service
Gambling merchants are not required to make any site or API changes
NETELLER continues to service global markets and will automatically block all US-based transactions on the appropriate dates

Gambling merchants do not need to notify their US customers
NETELLER is notifying all US customers via email that these changes are taking place
Canadian customers will not be affected by these changes
Canadian customers can continue to make transfers to and from your site, as well as initiate DA transactions
All transactions made by non-US customers will still be processed normally
This includes transfers to and from your site and Direct Accept transactions

Due to recent US legislative changes and events, effective immediately, US members are no longer able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites.
All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.

No, you do not need to make any changes to your site. Your NETELLER Direct API will be updated automatically with custom messaging indicating that the member is no longer to make a transfer due to their country of residence. For NETELLER v4.1 and recommended error messaging,

No, NETELLER is communicating this change to all US members already. They are being made aware of how these changes affect them and what is required of them.

No, this change does not affect Canadian customers. All Canadian residents will continue to use our service as normal.

Effective immediately, NETELLER will automatically block all US-based TransTos. As of this date, US customer will no longer be able to transfer funds to your site.

I am a non-gambling merchant. How do I know that my US customers are still be able to transfer funds to and from my site?
US customers are able to use NETELLER service for all non-gambling transactions as normal. If you are a non-gambling merchant, we will not block your ability to transact with US customers.

Do you plan on servicing US customers for gambling transactions in the future?
NETELLER has made an internal business decision to voluntarily withdraw from processing gambling transactions originating from the US. There are no plans underway to start processing US gambling transactions at any time in the future.

No. We have temporarily suspended the ability for US residents to create a NETELLER e-wallet account.

What are the geographic regions that you will focus on servicing?
At this time, NETELLER is localised in 10 countries (Brazil, Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Poland, Turkey and Sweden). We are committed to deepening our product offering in these areas as well as extending our service to other global markets.
